This motel is definitely worth the money. I paid $58 with tax for a single bed. I mean, come on, we all know it's not the Ritz, hell its not even the Holiday inn but its clean, its functional and its provides a safe roof over my head. Things are going to get SO much better too. I met the NEW OWNER and she is overflowing with ambition and the asset to change this place....for the best. Renovations are beginning in all rooms with new tile and carpet, new furniture, fixtures, ceiling and walls. She plans on creating a different style theme for every room. Located in the oldest part of Opelousas, just steps from downtown . I'm so excited to see the outcome of this project. To be able to stay in a room themed exactly how it would be in 1920's from furniture to accessories...a step back in time. Pretty cool. ...... ......but the process is long, expensive and exhausting. Id give them a chance, you really will not be disappointed. New owners, different everything!! Still CHEAP!!

This hotel is a bargain, and you get more than you expect. Desk personel were friendly and curtious, and rooms were clean. Better than what i expected for the price. Weekly rates were reasonable, with cable and wifi. I would recomend to anyone.
